Designed by Ferriani Sbolgi, this lamp draws inspiration from traditional Japanese shades, combining soft, diffused light with a strong architectural presence. Its cylindrical / horizontal silhouette is defined by a rhythmic structure that gives the form a sense of lightness and order.
The light shade is framed by a precisely crafted dark structure, creating a subtle contrast and a calm yet distinctive character. The design stands out through its proportions, clean lines, and refined detailing — both when the lamp is off and when it is illuminated.
Each piece features handcrafted details that require a high level of precision during production and finishing. This attention to every element gives the lamp its balanced, timeless quality.

Ferriani.Sbolgi
Founded in 2020 by Marco Ferriani and Sara Sbolgi, ferriani.sbolgi is a creative studio specializing in product, furniture, and surface design. The studio collaborates with leading international brands and limited-edition projects. Marco and Sara also teach product and furniture design at ISIA Florence and IED.
Their designs combine clean lines, calm forms, and harmonious aesthetics, with a strong focus on materials, processes, and experimentation. Inspiration comes from art, architecture, craftsmanship, nature, and diverse design fields. The studio balances tradition and innovation to create timeless yet contemporary products.
AURA stands out both when illuminated and at rest - an object of design as much as a source of light.
